40 x 10-minute programmes on a double-disc

When the school space bus breaks down, Sam and Amber find refuge on Junketir, a strange planet deep in space. The children soon learn that an understanding of maths is essential to solving the challenges they encounter during their adventures. They enlist help from Lisa, the space ferry pilot, eccentric Uncle Zak and a group of robotic helpers the Wattbots.

This animated series is designed to develop mathematical skills and confidence, while demonstrating that maths can be fun. Each programme consists of an animation sequence that highlights one maths problem within a self-contained story. This is complemented by a section that uses animation and graphics to further illustrate the same maths focus and make it more explicit.
