In Search of the Tartan TurbanHardeep Singh Kohli is a Sikh Scottish Londoner. As Hardeep retraces his steps back to Scotland via Yorkshire in seach of his cultural origins, he gains some unexpected insights into what it means to be a citizen of the UK today.

Told through moving narrative, animation, interviews and poetry, these stories are about living in a new land with an unfamiliar culture, about searching for a lost identity and about human dignity and survival.

Race in the 20th Century
These programmes present historical film in a critical context, seeking to challenge the 'one view' interpretation of history. The programmes ask questions about who produced the films, when, why and for whom?
